Which shovel should I get next?
Start with the Wooden Shovel and check the first dig sites. If Devonian is your next target, compare the reported Bronze requirement with the material items you actually own. Move to Silver only after checking its prerequisites, and follow the same pattern with Iron and Titanium. There is little value in saving for a tool you cannot craft or use at the next island you can reach.
